Dr. Olusegun Oshin
OTUNBA OMILA OF IJEBU
Dr. Oshin is a Physician with over a 35-year experience in the field of Public Health. He is a medical graduate of the University of Ibadan and has a Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, U.S.A. He is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians, Royal Society of Medicine, United Kingdom amongst others. He has a wide range of both Public and Private Sector administrative experience.
Oshin has managed and/or directed several developmental projects for the African Development Bank, World Bank, UNDP and the Federal and State Governments of Nigeria, whose outcome have brought the desired change. He was Consultant to the Governor of Ogun State on Health Matters (2003-2005) and the immediate past Pro Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State.
He is an active member of boards of several companies. He is also involved in charity work and serves as Chairman of Anu Dosekun Foundation.
He is a member of several clubs and societies which included the Metropolitan Club, Ikoyi Club, House of Lords and is presently Chairman of his class set, Loyola Veritas 68/72.
In Ijebuland he has been awarded distinguished Otunba titles which include Otunba Asorogbayi of Ibiade and Otunba Bobagunwa of Ijebu Owu. He is the Jaguna of Egbe Bobakeye, Akile Ijebu. Oshin is a member of Ijebu Renaissance and Ijebu Heritage Groups.
