Mrs. C. F. Oguntade

OTUNBA ATUNLUTE OF IJEBU

Otunba Mrs. Comfort Funsho Oguntade was born at Erigo-Erunwon by her late parents, Mr. and Mrs. Awonugba both of blessed memory. Her Maternal uncle was the late Oba Ogunlaja, Atunlute 1, Elerunwon of Erunwon-Ijebu.

She attended Ijebu-Igbo Girls Secondary School, Ijebu-Igbo and New Era Girls Secondary School in Lagos. She later travelled to England to obtain a Higher Certificate in Secretariat Studies. On her return to Nigeria, she worked at UTC Motors and Nigerian Security, Printing and Minting Company Limited. She voluntarily retired in December 1986 to establish her Private Polythene Factory at Oko-Oba, Agege in Lagos – producing Shopping Bags, Refuse Bags and Wheel Weights for Wheel Balancing.

Otunba Mrs. C. Funsho Oguntade was installed as Otunba Atunlute of Ijebu by HRM Alaiyeluwa Oba Dr. S. K. Adetona CFR on 20^th May 1988.

Otunba Mrs. C. Funsho Oguntade belongs to many Social and Church Organizations. She is also a Matron to a lot of Societies.

She is happily married to Justice G. A. Oguntade and blessed with five children.
