Otunba (Engr.) Fatai Olusegun Motolani Arowolo was born at Ijebu-Ode, on 20^th June, 1949.  His Father Late Alhaji Imam M. S. Arowolo of Ijasi Quarters whose mother was a Princess from the Jadiara Lineage of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House.  His late Mother Madam Sauli O. Arowolo was also a Princess from the Royal Keregbetu and Bale Families of Idepo Quarters all in Ijebu-Ode.

He started his academic career at Ansar-Ud-Deen School, Ijebu-Ode, his Secondary and Higher School Leaving Certificate course at Ijebu Muslim College, Ijebu-Ode.He graduated from University of Lagos with Bsc. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering. 1975.

After his National Youth Service (NYSC) in 1976, he joined Soboyejo Associates, a firm of Chartered Engineers and Consultants.  Left in 1985, as Executive Director with responsibilities of coordinating the company`s various projects staggered all over the country.

In 1984, he teamed up with a close friend and professional colleague Engr. F.O Onipede to co-found ARON NIGERIA LIMITED an Engineering Construction Firm, which had from inception, carved a niche for itself in the Nigeria Construction Industry.

The company has undertaken various challenging and prestigious construction projects in the South-Western Zone of Nigeria, Abuja, Jos, Gombe, Adamawa and Kwara,  Some of these projects include: Ogun State Cultural Centre, Ogun State Governor`s Office and Secretariat Complex; MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta; University of Lagos, 5000 capacity Multi-Purpose Hall; NFA-FIFA Football Goal Project (Technical Centre), Abuja; Gateway International Stadium Complex, Ijebu-Ode; Teslim Balogun Stadium Complex, Lagos; Gateway International Stadium Complex, Ilaro, 2009; Gateway  Stadium Complex, Sagamu, to mention just a few.

His various communal recognitions and awards include – Otunba Afolajoye of Ijebuland; Afolashadinni of Ijebu-Ode Central Mosque;  Balogun, Egbe Bobajolu (Okunrin) of  Ijebuland; Baba Egbe, Bobagunte (Obirin) of Ijebuland; Baba Egbe, Bobakeye (Obirin) Akile Ijebu; Mogaji Adinni of Zumratul Islamiyyah Society of Nigeria (Central Body); He is a recipient of various honours and awards, including – Ijebu Professional Excellence Foundation Award of Excellence in recognition of Professional Excellence in Engineering, May 2010; Ijebu Muslim College Old Student Association National Body; Founders Heritage Hall of Fame – Diamond Award 2010; Ijebu Flavours` Ijebu Man of the Year Award 2011; Conferment of Doctor of Science (D.Sc) in Engineering & Construction Project Management by European American University in Accra, Ghana, 2013,

Engr. Arowolo is happily married and blessed with adorable children.
