Otunba Yacoob Ekundayo Adedeji Bush-Alebiosu (Otunba Fuwagbuyi of Ijebu) popularly known as DBush is an Architect, politician, businessman, public/motivational speaker whose roots stem from Ijebu-Ode and Ijebu Ife of Ogun State of Nigeria.

Born into the family of Otunba Adedeji Bush-Alebiosu (Otunba Gbelegbuwa of Ijebu) whose grandmother was the daughter of Oba Adegbite Gbelegbuwa the first, and Otunba H. F. Adepeju Bush-Alebiosu (Otunba Adefugba of Ijebu) and Otunba Molade of Ijebu Ife of the Amesofe ruling house of Ijebu Ife.

A former two term representative of Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos State, in the House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria who was in active practice in his profession as an Architect before being appointed in Lagos State by the former Governor of Lagos State as Special Assistant on Housing.

Before delving into public service, he co-founded Counterpart Architects, and previously worked as an Architect/Chief Operating Officer- Jaseal Construction Limited. He had also worked in the firms of John Kaid Construction Limited, Aron Construction Nigeria Limited and Deji Oyenuga & Partners [Architects]

While in the House of Representatives, he served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Treaties and Agreements, Chairman House Sub-committee on Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and several times served in different Committees which include National Security, Petroleum (Upstream), Gas Resources, Justice, etc.

He sponsored and championed several Bills and Motions such as – Payment of adequate compensation for Dana Air Crash Victims; Harmful Effects of Caffeinated Energy Drinks on Nigerians; Investigation and bringing to justice of the perpetrators of the brutal ‘ALUU’ killing of four students of UNIPORT; Ratification and Domestication of all Treaties Signed by Nigeria; The take over of Intercontinental Bank by Access bank; Revocation of the Lagos Ibadan concession agreement, etc; The Tobacco Control Bill, the Air Passengers Rights Bill, the Alcohol Content Control Bill; and the Amendment to the PHCN Act on the Transfer of Liability to Occupiers, and Aviation Fuel Test Laboratory Bill, etc.

His academic and professional qualifications include – Postgraduate Studies (PGD) in Strategic Leadership, Warwick University, United Kingdom; Masters of Science (MSC) in Leadership and Management (ongoing) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Leadership and Management, both from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, United Kingdom. He also finished from Yaba College of Technology, with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Architecture.

He has undergone several development trainings including – Leadership and Decision Making-Harvard University, Massachusetts, United States of America; Personal Development – The Coaching Academy London, United Kingdom; Dynamic Leadership Programme – University College London (UCL), United Kingdom; Nigerian Representative: Commonwealth Parliamentarian Association, British Parliament, and on Drug Traffic Control and Money Laundering, United Kingdom.

He is married with children.
