Yeye Otunba Christiana Ajibike Akinsanya BA (Hons) JP, was born in Kaduna into the family of Pa Samuel Adeyemi Adekoya of Ibefun and Mrs Victoria Aduke Adekoya nee Shodipo, all of blessed memories.

An astute Educationist and consummate Artist, Yeye Otunba Ajibike Akinsanya had her secondary and tertiary education at our Our Lady of Apostles, Ijebu-Ode and Yaba College of Technology respectively. She graduated from Ahmadu Bello University in 1973 with BA Hons Fine Arts and a post -Graduate degree in Education from University of Lagos, Akoka.

Yeye Otunba Ajibike’s rich professional and administrative experiences include her teaching experience in King’s College and Federal School of Arts and Science, Victoria Island, Lagos, before her posting to the Scholarship Board of the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja from where she retired from service.

As an Artist, Yeye Otunba Ajibike Akinsanya has had various International Exhibitions of her paintings at her posts in London, Dakar Moscow, Addis Ababa and back in Lagos in 2015 – an event that was accorded Royal blessings of HRM ALAIYELUA OBA. S K ADETONA, JP CFR, The Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland represented by some members of the Ijebu Traditional Council.

She was conferred with the title Yeye Otunba Olumodan of Ijebu by Awujale, along with her husband Otunba Amb Olusegun Akinsanya on 7 February 2009.
